Pierre Pradal
Pierre Pradal has developed a 35-year-long career in finance and auditing, first in the private sector and then in international organisations, both nongovernmental and public. As an auditor and consultant, he has become a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Risk Management Assessor. He also became involved in ethical matters when joining NGOs; he became a Certified Fraud Examiner. Pierre has held senior management positions in global organisations in the development (CGIAR) and humanitarian (UNHCR) sectors.
Today, he leads the internal audit function in agencies of the European Commission (first EMA, now Fusion for Energy). Pierre is the Vice-Chair of the Certification Committee of IFACI, the French chapter of IIA, which assesses the compliance with Professional Standards of internal audit functions in French and international organisations of the private and public sectors. He is a Graduate of the Paris Institut d’Etudes Politiques and holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.
