Transition to CHS:2024

HQAI started auditing against the CHS:2024 edition from 1 April 2025.

An updated version of the CHS was introduced in March last year and represents a timely enhancement. Between then and now HQAI has been busy developing the tools and documents needed to support organisations and our auditors to transition from CHS:2014 to CHS:2024.

The timeline for transition

All Renewal and Initial Audits scheduled from April 2025 onwards will use the CHS:2024 as reference standard. If a partner's next scheduled audit is a Maintenance Audit, this will be against CHS:2014 and they will transition to CHS:2024 at their next Renewal Audit.

As we adapt our services to CHS:2024, HQAI continues to seek out opportunities to make your experience as efficient and cost-effective as possible.

• To assist organisations transition to CHS:2024, HQAI and CHS Alliance shall jointly facilitate two 90 minute interactive webinars and these are planned for 29 and 30 April 2025. More information about the webinars will be shared soon.
• HQAI is finalising a revised and more concise induction for Focal Points in our Talent LMS training portal. This will become available to all Focal Points during April 2025.
