Norwegian Refugee Council

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation that assists people who have been forced to flee their homes. They provide protection and support to displaced individuals as they work to establish a new life.

Their relief efforts began after World War Two, and today they operate in 40 countries, responding to both new and prolonged crises. Their goal is to save lives and help communities rebuild for the future.

NRC focuses on safeguarding the rights of displaced people during crises, with expertise in six key areas: food security, education, shelter, legal assistance, protection from violence, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.
