Phillip Miller brings over twenty years of international development and humanitarian experience in Asia, Pacific, Africa and Australia, in roles including Country Director, Regional Manager, Training Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Emergency Coordinator and Social Worker to his work as an aid consultant. He is one of a handful of consultants recognised by Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI) to certification audits of organisations against the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). His strengths lay in being able to find the spark in people, teams and programmes that unlocks the difference between good and great. Keeping his focus on the end user or beneficiary, he moves easily between advising governments to conducting a workshop in a remote village. He has been engaged in a range of assignments including designing and evaluating projects, preparing programme proposals, revising and developing strategies, conducting workshops and managing country programmes. He has learned a great deal from so many people over the years (most of whom, he reckons, didn't even know they were teaching him) and maintains the passion for taking every opportunity to improve the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable. Phillip is the founder and Director of Orgnex.
